For three years Daniel served as co-curator, speaker trainer & on-stage host at TEDxUbud in Bali, Indonesia - a popular event with a live audience of over 300.
Building on his experience as a speaker trainer, Daniel produced a handbook on creating a great TED Talk, which is now used to prep TEDx speakers.

He was a speaker at the Indonesian Heritage Society's renowned evening lecture series in Jakarta; a speaker for corporate clients such as Credit Suisse Bank, YPO Asia-Pacific, Panasonic Asia and the Templeton Group; and a speaker at diplomatic/academic forums such as USINDO in Washington, D.C., the embassies of the U.S. and Canada in Jakarta; the Indonesian embassy in London, and the University of British Columbia's Center for Asian Research.
As an accomplished documentary producer/director, Daniel leads workshops on approaches and practical processes in documentary filmmaking, using his award-winning film JALANAN as a case study.
